While eco-friendly practices, sourcing sustainable materials, and committing to 100% Australian-made products all play an important role, sustainability is also about ensuring the pieces we create are robust and durable, so they will enjoy a long life span, and won’t end up in landfill after a couple of years.

It’s often said that a coffee table should be slightly lower than the height of your sofa. For that reason, we keep our designs at about 400mm in height, meaning they should effectively complement the majority of sofa heights.

Generally, it’s better not to have a coffee table that’s too high because it might not be practical or convenient to place items on it. In addition, from a visual perspective, it should not be the most prominent item in a room.

If you have a very low sofa, let’s discuss the most suitable height for your new coffee table, and we can customise our designs accordingly.

This will generally depend on your sofa's size and/or configuration. Round coffee tables are great options for smaller rooms, while square pieces work best if the room has a sofa with modular settings, as they tend to mean everyone sitting can reach. Rectangular coffee tables can work well if placed in front of a single sofa or between two sofas positioned to face one another. In the unlikely event that something does go wrong, anaca studio will be on-hand to remedy it. Under our warranty, we will repair or replace any table, product, or part that fails due to a defect in workmanship or structural integrity.

This guarantee, which assumes sensible care and appropriate usage can be demonstrated, covers one year from the timber shipment date, and five years for metal. All repairs will be carried out at our discretion and without charge to the original purchaser.
