I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with artist, Hannah Fox, to promote her latest solo exhibition, FARAWAY. The exhibition features a suite of wonderful new oil paintings inspired by recollections of time spent in natural landscapes.
I first met Hannah at a Creative Women's Circle gathering for International Women's Day earlier this year. We've been admiring each other's work ever since! The last time we met, we got chatting and thought it would be a great idea to somehow combine Hannah’s artwork and anaca studio’s furniture. With anaca studio and One Fine Print’s Considered Aesthetics showcase soon to end, we decided to make the most of the short-term gallery space and called in photographer Martina Gemmola for a special shoot. We had such a great day playing around (behind the scenes here) and were thrilled with the results, particularly loving how the colours complement each other’s pieces – palette perfection!
Hannah's exhibition opens this Thursday 27 July, 6–8pm and will run from Wednesday 26 July to Sunday 6 August at 277 High Street, Northcote.
